If you own this Puma XLE Lite toy hauler, you own a unit that will help you achieve all of your adventuring goals. Because of its 11' up to 15' 10" garage, this trailer can bring along a wide variety of outdoor gear which means that whether you are an avid kayaker, biker, or hunter, you can use this trailer. The private bedroom with a queen-size bed will feel so relaxing after a long day on your feet, and the fact that you will be able to cook up a warm meal on the three-burner stove top will brighten your evening dinner plans. This entire unit is not only fully accommodating, but it is also up to date and modern looking because of the Beauflor linoleum flooring that has been included throughout the interior.
With the Puma XLE Lite, Palomino has graciously included one year of 24/7 emergency roadside assistance which means that you can travel worry free every time you are on the road. The LED lighting that is located throughout the Puma XLE Lite will keep your eyes and your wallet happy because of the brightness it brings to the trailer and the money it saves you on energy bills. The skylight in the bathroom allows some extra sunshine to add a bit of cheeriness in the morning, and the tinted windows throughout are helpful in preventing fading of precious items inside.
Love Our Sandpiper!!Like most: Thanks to you Mike Prewitt for such an awesome deal and for your great service! I also wanna thank Brian the guy who delivered it with such expertise. I didn't have to cut down any tree's and he was very patient. If anyone is looking for a trailer, or 5th wheel camper, BIG DADDY'S is the place! - Robert from Maumee, OH

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.
In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.
The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.
