This triple slide Palomino Puma 38-DBS destination trailer features a bath and a half, two entries, plus TWO bedrooms, and so much more!
The main living space and kitchen area are combined and include a single slide out u-shaped dinette and sofa which can both view the entertainment center that is located nearby. On the opposite side of the dinette, you will find everything you need to prepare meals and snacks with a residential style refrigerator, pantry, three burner range and double kitchen sink on an angled countertop.
The main bath is located next to the front bedroom just as you enter the sliding patio doors and features a corner shower, toilet, and a sink. In the front of the trailer you will enjoy a private spacious master bedroom with slide out king size bed with storage shelves for a restful night sleep. There is plenty of storage with a full wall closet and a smaller closet for a washer and dryer option, and a dresser too.
Heading towards the rear of the destination trailer, you will find a linen/wardrobe cabinet before entering the a rear bedroom. There is a queen bed slide out with nightstands and overhead storage along the road side wall. A wardrobe and entertainment center are on the opposite wall including the second entrance/exit into the trailer. A convenient half bath is next to the entry door and includes it's own private entry from the bedroom.

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.
In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.
The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.
